From iQFOiL to sailing boats!
What a brilliant afternoon on Friday! We were delighted to welcome 12 young people from the iQFOiL World Championship ELEVATE programme to Weymouth Sailing Club for a few hours of getting afloat and enjoying Weymouth Bay. With the SB20s, Wayfarer and 2000 out on the water, there were plenty of smiles, plenty of sailing and hopefully a few new sailing adventures started along the way! A massive THANK YOU to our Youth

Race to Alderney, and a lively time at Braye Harbour!
Chat in the Bar on the Thursday evening before the club's first trip to Alderney in some year's all centered on the weather. There would be 3-4m residual swell the next morning, forecast gale force winds for the Saturday with Braye Harbours mooring bouys the only relief from the elements, and a hoped for abating of the wind on the Sunday to allow everyone to return safely.
